Not to be that guy because this seems like fun, but isn't the whole 'we don't want armageddon' thing the entire plot of the first 5 seasons of Supernatural?
never watched supernatural but the book the movie is based on came out in 1990
also, not really how i pictured aziraphale - but the movie still looks really good
Yep, and last time I saw a random ep, they didn't stop it. Kinda madmax with religion thrown in it type of armageddon. I watched it for like 10 mins cause I have a massive guy crush on Jensen, but it really...seemed dragged on. (sorry to get off subject)
Forget what you know about Supernatural, this is a whole different beast. The book (that predates Supernatural by 15 years) is wonderful, and Neil's adapted it because Terry requested it in a letter delivered after his death. As a big fan of Terry I'm excited to watch it, but it feels poignant.

I haven't watched them so I probably shouldn't speak on it, but they all seem like the same thing in my head, because they are all using biblical stuff, and making it gross/goofy/"badass", and also the whole "we don't want Armageddon" thing too
