Switching over to an unfinished unpolished product with a fraction of the features of the original and broken basic functionality is more in the spirit of Facepunch.
Nothing wrong with making an account should the worse happen. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst and all that.
At least this one has rules and won't have a lasting hit on posting quality when we eventually do move over.
