Illinois deputy killed serving warrant; suspect caught following standoff

I pass by the hotel the suspect was at everyday when I go to work. I wasn't expecting this story to make national news, USA Today and CNN picked up the story. The officer was assisting the US Marshals Fugitive Division, so there's a good chance the suspect will be charged for a federal crime.
