Excited as i am about Vulkan support I guess i'll have to wait as it looks like you guy forgot to build with it enabled lol Initialize engine version: 2018.3.3f1 (393bae82dbb8) Forcing GfxDevice: Vulkan Forced GfxDevice 'Vulkan' was not built from editor, shaders will not be available   (Filename:  Line: 602) PlayerInitEngineGraphics: InitializeEngineGraphics failed Failed to initialize player Receiving unhandled NULL exception
Umm, yeah. Crash straight to desktop. :/ When will this be pushed?
Vulkan detection: 2 Initialize engine version: 2018.3.3f1 (393bae82dbb8) Forcing GfxDevice: Vulkan Forced GfxDevice 'Vulkan' was not built from editor, shaders will not be available Have you tested the game? I paid for the game and I can not even start it! When will the fix?
Same here. Any chance of at least a confirmation message from devs?
The devs have replied to several of our support tickets to say that they're aware of the issue and are working on it.
I appreciate that, but what I take issue with is having to take other end users word for it.
Send in a support ticket yourself then, and you'll get the same answer as us.
I did, days ago. No response.
A couple weeks ago when I booted up Rust many elements were just hot pink. Now i crash or freeze when loading terrain textures while connecting to a server. I am tired of doing my own tech support every other update. Facepunch has pretty much said they don't care about the "two users" who use Mac and Linux. The main reason I bought this game a year and a half ago is because it ran on Linux. I am done coaxing this game to work. When and if it ever works properly again on it's own, I may play occasionally, but I pretty much give up. At least I can sell my Rust skins to raise money to buy other games.
Their "two users" factual are not held up by their own server analysis. but we all have bad days..... https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/338038/014f0b0f-fd33-4ec9-87d3-1105b5977fd9/Mary_mysavior.jpg
