Good lol, even if she's pretending it would be a tragedy.
This is what begging for help from your opponents in politics looks like.
If Brexit gets cancelled, I wonder what the final price tag will be in terms of money spent by industry and government preparing for it only for it to not happen
Probably not that bad considering across most aspects of society the government hasn't put any real time or resources into preparing for no deal. Places like Holland started investing heavily in their border infrastructure over a year ago in preparation for brexit. Since then our gov has given contracts to companies that don't exist and made further cuts to the coast guard.
Just imagine if this national mental breakdown just ended. It'd be like trying to storm out of a building for two years, only to wind up in a broom cupboard with our trousers around our collective ankles.
We tried to storm out the building but we don't know where the door is and we're too stubborn to ask so we keep threatening to jump out the 10th floor window and everyone is desperately trying to stop us.
do u think theresa may reads internet comments about herself late at night
what if this was the plan all along

I swear she already said this and in the same sense of "It would be a bad thing" last time they voted on her deal. Even remember an article about it posted here.
Is this her get-out strategy? So she can turn around and say "I've not been given the powers I need, I cannot deliver the brexit you want, we're stuck staying in"?
That's even more British, I like it
Theresa May: "The Brexit vote was complete and unanimous and we will NOT EVER go back on this vote!!!!"
Also T-May: "We're having another vote on my deal just to be sure you were serious last time."
absolute fucking joke, cancel the whole thing and let people be angry, not worth ruining the country over this farce.
"Brexit means Brexit and we're going to make a success of it."
That'd be nice. I've thought about working in the UK but it's pretty unappealing prospect if they're gonna leave the EU
