The problem I have is my server don't show up in the server list. The question is why? It rans fine until an update in decembre 2018. I did forward port.
It was a modded oxide server. My 2nd question is, how my friends can join my server because client.connect 58.666.66.01:2015 doesn't work. Is there a way that my friends can connect to my server even it don't show up in the server list?

The rust port is 28015 → 28016
Make sure you have a static IP if you are local hosting

My friends tried client.connect xx.xxx.xx.xx:28015 without success.
the following ONLY works if you have external port forwarding from your computer to the external network.
There is sometimes a "lag" for servers to show up....
That said you can still connect by pressing "f1"
to get the console then do something like:
client.connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:28015
The IP MUST maintain the same value for the duration of your connection, in your router YOU MUST configure your workstation to have a STATIC ip address via the DHCP
DHCP is usually configured to roll the ip address every 3 days, some setups do it every 8 hours.
However you will NEVER get it to work if your router is not configured corectly to forward the port from your computer to the external network.
