Replayed SotC (the remake) for the first time in 7 years, and man, it really is a good game huh?
The remake of SOTC is pobably the best remake to date. This is the first game I played that really made me feel like video games were beyond just entertainment!
The reason I like SotC so much is something entirely different that the video never mentions.
Behind the obvious artisticness, the story, the immersion, and the storytelling through gameplay, there's a surprisingly deep game whose actual gameplay depth doesn't get enough credit:

around half of the colossi have multiple ways to climb them; some are harder than others, and some are practically required to complete time trials. Finding all these alternate ways to climb the colossi was a ton of fun, after completing the game 100% (the remake is one of only 2 platinum trophies I have on the Ps4, the other being Spiderman). I really feel like I might be completely alone on this, I could barely find any other videos of people doing similar things, aside from the trick to beating the hardest time trial (colossus number 3).
I agree, one thing that kept me engaged with this game is how the bosses are essentially puzzles. It’s why I always loved Zelda Bosses, only they took it to the extreme and made it open ended puzzle solving. I would love to see another game attempt that in a different way.
