https://twitter.com/Arbys/status/1104049390749138950 In other words, companies continue to make themselves look as human as possible by appealing to the current generation. Though, because of the design of this girl, and what she's being described as, this is definitely generating a lot of art, reactions, and most importantly (clearly), controversy. if you look at the hashtag. Take a few wild guesses as to what about. https://twitter.com/hashtag/ArbysWaifu
Eeugh!
And of course she looks like a fucking child. They know exactly what they're doing the absolute cunts.
Finally a waifu that isn't trash like rem.
I don't think they're ready for all the porn they're going to get back because of this.
yikes https://twitter.com/GunkissArt/status/1104105640304226304 https://twitter.com/Arbys/status/1104106806836715521

This was their plan all along.
another cynical attempt to force a brand to become ~viral~
https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/082/162/4cf.png I've never eaten at an arby's but I have zero plans to start now. I really don't care either way, but I actually kinda like stuff like this even though it's blatant pandering. The original design is cute too. Ravioli ravioli do not ____ the arby's loli
The fast food equivalent of "she's a 1000-year-old dragon/goddess"
I think I'm in the minority and a horrible person, because I think this is fun and I've always thought the Arby's Twitter account is full of really creative and high-effort art. I mean, this doesn't quality as one of those "high-effort" posts, but either way I've never understood why people sometimes get so upset about their Twitter. It's marketing, and not even thinly veiled at that, but even as somebody squarely in their demo, and as such somebody who would be most annoyed at how obvious and fake these kinds of things end up being, I don't mind it at all. I can't take marketing seriously enough to get mad at a social media account that unlike most every one of these "pandering" tends to do it in a way that's pretty cool and interesting. https://twitter.com/arbys/status/1096801379216179200?lang=en https://twitter.com/BandaiNamcoUS/status/1021763522512879616
is this sorta thing just becoming a weekly occurrence now or what its hilarious at least to see people get so mad over drawings lol
Part of me loves how companies are persoanlizing themselves. Even Wendy's has been doing livestreams of stuff, and it's pretty fucking funny.
Ravioli Ravioli
Their deli meat already looks like a cunt, this is just the logical next step.
Is this what they mean by late stage capitalism?
Please think of the drawings
"Lol promote our brand for us internet weirdos and here's a design that conveniently appeals to fucking freaks who get off to the ideals and appearance of innocence and children. We'll also retweet and like any art of her that's provocative or revealing enough to not be porn while still being sexually implicit (read the tweet thread where they first posted it) so you guys can get a thrill off it!!" You don't have to do more than apply a single braincell of logic to this to see how it's absolutely revolting mate.
I'm just done with this whole 'man this corporation understands us'. Congrats, they made a waifu. I bet the artist got paid shit.
still waiting for a company to reveal their fursona... even mozilla firefox pandered to bronies instead wtf
Incoming Subway cross-promotional material.

Welcome to advertising since forever. Do you not want companies to try and relate with customers?
