My wish for 2020 is to be able to go one month without having to figure out whether I should be changing all my passwords again or not.

2 of my emails are there, but I bet that they are there from previous leaks with already changed passwords.

Password managers and 2-step verification are the way forward.
If you think this is EVER going to stop happening, you're going to be sorely disappointed. There is just too many points of failure, too much potential for human error, and too much value to obtaining this data for it to ever stop happening.

My old email is pwned, but I figured as much way back seeing how some russian pos stole my origin account.
Instantly made a gmail account and changed everything to it.
Weirdly enough, the exact same thing happened to my friend.
Still mad I never got pwned for years and was careful, and the one website that ended up pwning me was Town of Salem

13 pwns on a throwaway email account that's been used for signing up to anywhere on the internet since 2008 and oof, only Facepunch on an 8 year old formal email account that i use on my resume and for more serious internet things.
I've got a bunch of filters on my older email account so i haven't seen spam mail for probably a good 8 years.
My old email was pwned at least twenty three times.
Not in this breach though so lucky me ig
I've been pwned since the last big leak and nothing has happened. But I have two step verification on my gmail account, so that's understandable.
My main email has been pwned quite a bit (Once from Facepunch, Thanks Gary!), but with 2step and not using the passwords for it anywhere else, I'm never really worried about it
I use passphrases when I use a service frequently, and random bullshit for ones I dont...because fuck it, I'll just reset it via email.
My main email has been pwned apparently 11 times though from checking password pwns it seems to just be from very old registrations and passwords I don't use anymore. I'd use a password generator but whenever I use something like keepass I forget the master password within literal days.

I've been pwned on Facepunch among a couple other websites, but I don't really know how to go about changing the password for this site since logging in is no longer handled by Facepunch itself.

Good thing I deleted my hotmail account a long time ago - that was the only compromised email address.
With all the info that was leaked as part of this, well, leak, I almost feel like it's pointless to even change passwords. pwned even specifically states no passwords were included in the breach.
Regardless, I got fucked, so I've changed my password... again. Must be the 4th time in just 6 months.

I can't ever remember any of my passwords so I'm constantly changing them anyway every week or so.
Disastrously poor memory is the best security.
pwnpasswords is great for checking if you're shits fucked,
if you don't like checking your passwords to an online service though, troy has these as a few torrent files, easy 40GB though
