I wonder if she still can remember Pearl Harbor. That said, that's quite the time to live though.
Jesus motherfucking christ, she was born in 1903! I know it's obvious, but take a second to absorb JUST HOW MUCH the world has changed in her lifetime, and just how much she's seen.
She went from horses being the main means of transport, to a man on the moon. Yeah, a lot sure changed.
Going from horses to rockets is baby shit, that's only 67 years. She's been knocking around for 49 years AFTER the moon landing. She's been around from before the telephone, when the quickest way to communicate was telegram, to now, when we have live video and audio conversations with people on the other side of the planet through a device we carry around in our pockets.
Are they sure she's alive?
So she went through the popularization of radio, to the invention of television, and then computers to smart phones. Its hard to understand how crazy fast technology has changed until you realize someone has lived through so many progressions. Two world wars and all of the cold war business, the wars in Afghanistan and then in Iraq, that's crazy. She's over four times older than me, what a trip.
From horses, to mechanized behemoths of power that do upwards of the speed of sound. still, she looks kind of... out
Just pointing this out, but the telephone entered public use around the early 1880's.
Looks like you're right, I'll edit my post
Oh my god, how repulsive; who the fuck likes playing Othello?
Othello is actually pretty dope, much more fun than most physical originated games. Would rather play it over monopoly or checkers any day.
Steve Ballmer?
when she was born, there weren't even iphones yet!
