Can't wait to try some Mammoth Steaks
what do we do with this new species?
TASTE IT
Well it would be interesting
I mean our ancestors hunted them to extinction, it must be pretty fucking tasty back then
i bet the next generation were fuckign PISSED when they found out there were no more mammoths around to eat
eat shit, that generation
An ex of mine once asked me to "Bring the Woolly Mammoth" once, so I spent the next ten years researching Biology and Bio-Engineering to try and bring it back. When I came back with my results I found that she left me for a gas fitter from Morecambe, apparently that cloning it wasn't what she meant, I mean, how as I supposed to know?

I don't care how many times Jurassic Park is supposed to scare me, I want dinosaurs too.
People are working on it.
Can Science Bring Dinosaurs Back To Life Like Jurassic World?
Living dinosaurs could be recreated within a decade, says paleon..
We need to bio engineer them to breath CO2 and expel O2 + fragrance of tulips or there's no point.
Today Japan brings the Mammoth to life, but tomorrow?
animae girls
Have they gotten over the ethical restriction of not allowing anything created to come past the embryonic stage, or are we going to "create" dinosaurs where it's like "We created an embryo, and it would become a dinosaur if we let it live, but we can't. Just trust us."
Most of Japan is buddhist. I think buddhism is way more chill with these moral conumdrums. So I doubt they care about the ethics of playing god.
Actually the majority of Japan (as of 2006 anyways) is Shinto or nonreligious, not Buddhist.
My bad. I got Shinto mixed with Buddhism. You are right.
Shinto also has quite a number of things from Buddhism, definitely not gonna necessarily have the same moral conundrums as the western christian framework
Pachyderm trivia: mammoths are more closely related to Asian elephants than African elephants are. In fact, African elephants are more distantly-related to Asian elephants than the straight-tusked elephants that roamed Europe.
By the time scientists actually manage this, they're going to be very, VERY ill-suited to the climate
How disappointed are going to be when Tyrannosaurus turns out to just be a really big chicken?
But think of the hot wings market!
T-Rex's only have drumsticks though! We need to reanimate Pterosaurs to have wings large enough to cover the entire table!
This'll be useful soon when the scientists are called on to bring elephants back from extinction
Or Issac Newton
