So Division 2 is out for those who got the gold edition, and comes out for everyone on the 15th. So far everyone talking about it has nothing but high praise for it. Everything that made Division good at 1.8 has been put on drugs. Exploring every nook and cranny is rewarding. There's almost too much shit to do. Extreme Skyrim syndrome where you end up wandering all over the place distracted. There's quality of life changes out the ass. Time to kill is way down. Skills are better and more useful, the way stats and talents are handled is much better. Build diversity is insane. Friendly settlements that you actually improve with scavenged supplies. You can even watch a group of friendlies leave the settlement, wander and search for supplies, and bring them back, as well as fight enemies along the way...Etc, etc, etc
And once you hit level cap and do a specific Stronghold mission to go into World Tier 1, a new PMC faction takes over the whole map with even MORE new shit to do and explore
Anthem refugees welcome
I'm a small dick guy who only buys standard editions but I can't wait to play Div2. Me and my pal are probably gonna get piss drunk on release day and get absolutely nowhere. When we got drunk and played Division 1 we were like "YEA LETS GRIND ALL NIGHT!" and it ended up being 2 runs of underground and then me ranting about furry porn for 40 minutes. I'm not kidding either it wasn't really my finest hour
Are enemies still massive bullet sponges? That really put me off from the end game in TD1
The big dick bosses are spongey, but at least there's an excuse for it by putting them in big ass bulky armor with destructable pieces. Everything else is pretty minimal. Red enemies die faster than players in Battlefield die, Purple enemies die just as fast if you have just an OKAY build, and gold enemies are about as strong as purple enemies were in Division 1
That actually looks pretty good
I'm pretty hype to play D2, stopped with D1 before 1.8 dropped and I'm itching for some dancing and some cover loot n shoot
If you mean the chicken dancing, that shit got obliterated. And we're all happy about it
Never heard of that, fill me in?
I'm loving being early as I get entire Dark Zones to myself and just farm away, I know that the whole Dark Zone experience is about being on guard against other players etc etc, but I'm just a PvE player and I don't want any of that tense stuff, I just want to relax and loot grind away.
The enemies in the game aren't very spongy aside from the bosses, as long as your weapons are up to level against the enemies, you can down them in like half a mag or so, faster in like 5 shots if you just headshot
The free cosmetic crates has also been very generous to me, it dropped the outfit parts that I wanted, what are the fucking chances. Honor guard cap and jacket, the red boots. You also get like 200 premium coins when you reach level 15 I believe and they're enough to buy like one outfit part, which I went and got the hiking pants. I completed this setup I wanted when I dropped into the game and checked out the vanity store.

I've been solo playing the entire time and still having a blast. Game is great would recommend.
2 is an improvement in almost every way over the first game and has a fuckload of content too.

This garbage. People do it to flail wildly and exploit the netcode to become much harder to hit, if not impossible. People would dump mags then while reloading do it
Anyone else feel like the difficulty really cranks up around level 8? As a mainly solo player, I was really struggling for a while. I'm doing better now at level 11, but man, the combat in this game is very stressful.
did they keep the survival mechanics?
i already preordered but the one thiing i hate about ubisoft games is outside of there core franchises they release half baked shit, crew 2 really burned me with that
I have a feeling this will get a ton of support post launch. They're still adding stuff to Wildlands nearly 3 years later.
You mean the dlc survival mode with cold resistance and the infection timer and stuff? No, that's not in. However it was a pretty popular activity so I'd say there's a decent chance of it (or rather a similar mode, since having to survive a blizzard wouldn't make sense in the summer) returning.
Their year 1 roadmap is pretty fleshed out, and it's all free to boot. This video goes over everything.

So yeah, it seems like they've got endgame content nailed down this time.
Just a heads up to anyone who's missing weapon skins: if you have a skin equipped on a single weapon in your inventory and you sell that a weapon, the vendor will take the skin with it. If you do it in time, you can use Buy Back to get the weapon and its skin back. Dismantling weapons with applied skins is still safe.
I've put in a ticket with Ubisoft Support to get the First Responder and DC Patriot skins back, since I didn't realise what had happened until it was too late. I managed to save the Solid Black skin I got out of a weapon crate through the Buy Back menu. For what it's worth, I found another copy in a supply crate later so if your vendors have reset it's still possible to get another one.
Fuck, so THAT's where my skin went. Probably too late to get it back now. They really need to fix that. I'm gonna stop using skins until they change it.
It's worth checking in with any of the vendors as soon as possible. I thought for sure I'd lost the Solid Black skin until I checked the vendors and found it near the bottom of the list.
How's PC run boys? Deciding if more of you play on PC or Ps4 cause I want to be able to play with some people that aren't completely random
I can max it and get almost consistent 60fps. Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.75gHz, 1080 GTX @ 1809MHz, 32gb RAM, 1440p. Other people who have less beefy PCs seem to have a lot of luck with the high settings
from my experience in the beta with a gtx 980ti, 16gb ram, intel i7 4770k 3.5ghz and 1920x1080 it seems to run well on any setting, performance doesn't seem to vary its just a matter of how much I want to fucking destroy my computer. High settings is about a solid 60fps and helicopter mode inside my comp, low settings is solid 60fps but my comp will live to see another sunrise
Both betas I was usually able to maintain 144fps but sometimes dropped down to 90ish fps during big fights with lots of particles during rain i7@3.70GHz 16gb RAM GTX 1080Ti 1920x1080@144Hz
Can't wait for the game to release
i finally broke and bought it, hopefully i enjoy 2 more than the small time i had with 1 since i didnt really enjoy playing solo that much (at least theres a monster hunter-esque SOS feature ive heard)
My beta experience was great so I decided to actually cash in and buy it to play with my friends, and I can't even take 10 steps before my game freezes constantly. That really fucking sucks.
Im stuck waiting for tomorrow cause the copy I got with my CPU is the standard edition. I'm really glad that it turned out to be not a shit show on release. I had my doubts but Ubisoft seem to be doing really well as of late.
I'm in it now. I can't wait to play anyone. Braytowk is my uplay account name.
I have the exact logitech headset thats having the audio issues fucking rip, not a big deal just annoying.
Games dope tho, visually its really nice and the weather systems are fantastic.
Tried the skirmish style PVP and had the servers boot me as the round ended thus giving me no reward but aside from that games been solid so far
Cool, my Corsair keyboard changes colors and does patterns with this game. Like if I get a headshot is flashes and whatnot.
I've only had 2 CTDs so far, one of them apparently being related to the striker drone causing everyone to crash
Overall its a lot more stable than I imagined
i think im definitely enjoying this a lot more than the first.
there gonna be a FP clan?
