I'm having a really odd issue that I can't seem to find a solution for.
Basically my microphone stays always online, seemingly randomly even if its muted or set to 0 in the sound settings.

Soundcard is a Soundblaster Z, control panel is the black on on the left, the window in the middle is the Win10 Control panel, top right is the input device window and bottom right is the properties of the microphone input.
I'm constantly tapping my microphone there and you can see that despite it being muted or set to 0 it does not actually mute the sound.
Only changing the microphone boost actually affects it.
I have no idea when this started but I'm quite sure I haven't actually installed anything lately that would cause this.
I already removed the checkbox that would give programs exclusive control over the device.
A full restart fixes it but it seems to come back randomly. Sign out/in doesn't fix it.
I noticed this happening the past 2 days, I use an Elgato Streamdeck to mute the mic (which mutes it systemwide).
First I thought it was maybe a program, my last idea was Origin or Apex Legends, for some odd reason, but just now it happened again and all I did was browsing chrome.
So far today I haven't been doing anything unusual, no Origin/Apex, mainly just browsing internet and watching some stuff.
I also already checked for malware or other stuff, nothing.
