• Advice on a cheap SSD for a cheap laptop.

I looking to put an SSD in my girlfriend's laptop to reduce at least one of its bottlenecks and make her life easier. There are -240GB SSDs from Kingston and SanDisk for ~$30. Does anyone have experience with them?
I mean if the reviews are good you can't really go wrong best is to do is what I always do, if the longest 1 star reviews say things that was either clearly the buyers fault or something that's universally going to happen, then it's an extremely good product. With that many reviews however you can't really mess up. Once you're above 500 and the ratio https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/716/941389ab-b1e6-4495-9550-88e5f40be4bf/image.png is this good, there's really nothing to lose
Second this, for cheaper SSDs (or really most computer parts) I try to look for parts that: Have atleast 100 or so reviews on them to get a good sample size. Have atleast 100 or so verified buyer reviews on them. >70-75% of the reviews give it a 4 or 5 star. Other review sites or storefronts have similar reviews. Have been on the market for atleast a couple months to weed out infant mortality products. Atleast a somewhat reputable manufacturer. i.e. PNY or Sabrent may not be known for SSDs but atleast they're an established company with good support and not a fly-by-night AliExpress seller.
Inland Professional 240GB 3D TLC NAND SATA These are SanDisk OEM, not bad drives if you care about cheap more than IOPS
