Can srcds take advantage of only one thread or one core?

Running an srcds server on a linux machine with 4 cores / 8 threads/vcores. I'm using taskset 3 [start command] to assign it to vcores 0 & 1. Is that pointless, and I should just assign it to vcore 0? Any benefits from having two threads?
