Immigration minister David Coleman said on Saturday that comments about Islam made by Yiannopoulos in the wake of the Christchurch massacre were “appalling and foment hatred and division” and he would not be allowed in the country. It comes a week after Coleman approved Yiannopoulos’ visa against the advice of the home affairs department, which said the commentator may fail the character test to enter Australia. Coleman said the attack in Christchurch was “an act of pure evil” carried out “on Muslims peacefully practicing their religion. “Australia stands with New Zealand and with Muslim communities the world over in condemning this inhuman act,” he said. Labor spokesman for citizenship and multiculturalism, Tony Burke, earlier on Saturday called on Coleman to treat far-right extremism as it would other forms of extremism and revoke Yiannopoulos’s visa. Milo's actual comments are not in this article as far as I can tell, so I tracked down the bits the government were apparently talking about: "Attacks like this happen because the establishment panders to and mollycoddles extremist leftism and barbaric, alien religious cultures. I still cannot believe that the far-right (alt / extremist / etc. aka. not normal conservatives) are somehow spinning this massacre against the innocent civilians that were involved- just because they were refugees/immigrants. Like I've seen it and I've read about it- I just cannot understand how or why they would do that. Like how can they be so daft and cruel at the same time? (talking about the NZ senator as well) And now comes along this clown- who before the 2016 US elections was a nobody. Has now somehow, managed to push the blame even further?! Extremist leftism / alien religious culture?! Bro, c'mon now... I'm honestly trying to put myself in their shoes to understand their mentality/beliefs- just to see where they are coming from (on some level at least). The forces of authoritarianism see their own violence as a response to attacks by their enemies. It's a self-justifying principle that lets them believe they are acting in self-defense against an impending genocide even as they themselves carry out actual genocide. They're completely blind to reality and all they know is hatred.

Hate justifies itself through any means, logical or not. Anything that doesn't submit to them is a threat to be defeated, and even mild resistance is to be mischaracterized as extremist action -- because the truth doesn't matter to the Right anymore, their entire reality depends on feels before reals because the reals don't, won't, and can't line up their way without another genocide. I do wonder if Milo will reflect on their views at some point and perceive them as extreme views, it's also the safer option to cancel their visa until the shooting incident dies down as him arriving would probably just stoke the anger further. That's interesting, but what source do you have that shows that the world of the right is leading up to a genocide. I would think anyone regardless of their views would like to know the truth than swallow up lies and ignorance in favour of a genocide.
