Beast Wars Writer Larry DiTillio Passes Away At Age 79
Aww, rip, I had the toys to that. My favorite was the Gorilla. Transformers, but with animals
Beast Wars and Beast Machines wouldn't have been the shows they were if it wasn't for Ditillio
Damn that sucks
I wasn't really old enough to really watch Beast Wars, but I'll never doubt it's mark on TV. Beast Wars was something that could easily just a marketing scheme to sell toys to kids like MLP and the original G1 cartoon, but guy's like him made it more than just a 20 minute long ad; it was an adventure and a thrill ride that kids growing up in the 90's loved to death. Plus wihtout him, we would NEVER had the honor of having the best Megatron, and possibly even best animated TV villain, to grace the small screen.

Wonder if this was why the rumored "Beast Wars" movie was put on hold.
Wait Larry was a writer on Beast Wars as well as Babylon 5? Dang it really shows, he did great with both.
Rest In Peace. One of the best science fiction writers.
