I'm imagining two speedrunners zapping around the same game trying to defeat ganon first.
This is cool but I don't get how this would work with progression. If one player beats a dungeon and gets learns a new song/gets a special item how will the other player do the same if they're not there? Will it just passively give all players certain progression items or will one player just not be able to complete certain parts of the game? This isn't like WOW where there are quest logs and specific start and end points, most story/quest events are contextual to the current state of the world/player progression.
