Castlevania, Castlevania: III Dracula’s Curse, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge (Game Boy), and Super Castlevania IV. Also included are four yet to be announced titles.
Wonder what the unannounced ones are.
I hope they have new Contra games included in the collection.

why is it special that they're specifically coming to switch when it's a multiplatform port collection
Source is a Nintendo oriented site
I had a blast playing Hard Corps Uprising on the X360. I hope it's one of those unannounced Contra titles.
listen to this man Konami
he knows what's up
Lookit all this cash waiting to be spent on MGS on Steam
Hopefully they will give portable ops the HD treatment if they ever release the collection on steam and switch.
It should be Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the Night, The Adventure Rebirth, and either one of the GBA or DS titles or Bloodlines. First two are unlikely considering, y'know, they just released those two together for the PS4. And I doubt they care about The Adventure Rebirth.
Would be cool to see one of the 3D games running on there though. It'd be surreal to see Castlevania Legacy of Darkness on Switch
where's symphony of the night at
Betting Symphony is one of the unannounced ones along with Rondo

in a ps4 exclusive, subpar package
Yeah if they were releasing symphony it would be part of that bundle or even standalone, they know people will fork out for it.
I don't have much confidence in this, I recently purchased that Requiem bundle to get my Symphony of the Night fix and Konami added one new feature - Quick Save.
And it doesn't fucking work. Pressing Save just brings you to the main menu and resets your progress to the last save point. According to some reports I saw that feature even corrupts your saves.
I guess you can say that Symphony of the Night is meant to be played with the save points but how can you be so incompetent as to completely fail to test your one new "QoL improvement"?
Wonder what made them change their minds from "we're only making Pachinko machines" to "well, we better release games again".
I think I’ve heard that almost immediately following that Japan made restrictions for pachinko
"well fuck, we can't sell any more MGS3 pachinko machines, time to sell regular MGS3 again"
I want Order of Ecclesia. My absolute favorite Castlevania game. Cool environments, cool mechanics, good story, great use of difficulty. Boss fight where you drop an elevator on a giant crab after quipping a one-liner.
Oh wow I thought I was the only one who felt like this.
Been a Castlevania fan for a long time but Dawn of Sorrow was pretty special to me, and Order of Ecclesia is my favorite, still have the poster in my room.
We should start a cult.
I can't blame them for going with the more known and popular titles from their catalog but I'm a bit let down at the glaring omission of the Suikoden franchise.
To be honest, everyone remembers 1 and 2, but everything beyond that fell into obscurity and great fan debates about whether they were worth it. It's easy enough to emulate get a PS3 and buy PSN copies of the first two, but Konami being as they are, they likely don't care for the games afterwards.
I can't imagine these collections take a lot of time to produce and make enough money to justify their creation.
Most of Portable Ops' levels are woefully underdetailed, it would need a proper from the ground up remake to make it's levels stand out on their own like the PW levels.
