I'm sure the title sounds a little sloppy. Sorry about that.
Hello everyone, I need someone to help me with this.
I've been completely stuck with really old 2006 PC (The mine) winch in my case it is extremely impossible for me to get a better pc or improve this one given the situation here (and both financial) and I've been trying lately to find games given I've been getting too bored with currently ones winch i have, I can't give you much info on this PC since I'm very behind. the only thing I can tell you that is:
-Intel g41 express chipset with Pentium Dual-Core E5300 with its integrated graphics card everything is original, except the Rams
The ones winch I have currently installed
-Gmod
-PSP emulator with GTA VCS and GTA LCS 100% complete winch lags sometimes on some parts.
and I'm not someone who knows a lot of games for this pc only I've played Deus ex 1 (4 times) , Shadowrun Returns (the one Humble Bundle gave away for free), System shock 2, COD 2, COD WAW (on low and with lags) and the soldier of fortune Strategy games I'm a bit slow
With Strategy games I'm a bit slow in learning well the tactics, online games it's practically impossible for me here by the bad internet and I've never played an online game before and I'm very very horrible.
I have no problem with any game that you can recommend me
Thanks in advance.
you may enjoy Clive Barker's Undying (came out in 2001), which you can snag off GOG https://www.gog.com/game/clive_barkers_undying
it's a horror-FPS and probably my favorite shooter. it's good shit if you're someone that doesn't mind old ass graphics.
Mafia 1 might need some fixes from pc gaming wiki but its an amazing game from '02
also doom + mods
AMID EVIL and DUSK could probably run pretty okay on that.
They're very good retro-esque shooters.
On that note, Half Life and its associated games, as well as the original DOOM (1 and 2) and Quake games would probably run on that fine.
Nox™ on GOG.com
Fun little ARPG with a goofy story.
Always glad to see someone else who's played this game.
Infested Planet, Dawn of War series, Rainbow Six 3 and prior, Jets 'n Guns, Jagged Alliance 2 (Strongly recommend 1.13 mod), Door Kickers, Homeworld 1, 2 & Cataclysm, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Command & Conquer series up to Generals, Halo 2 Project Cartographer, Fallout 1, 2 & Tactics (Fuck the haters it's more game), System Shock Enhanced Edition, Soldat, Convoy, Into the Breach, Mechwarrior 3, 4 & expansions, Luftrausers, Resident Evil 1-3, Ground Control 1&2, SWAT 3 & 4.
Dwarf Fortress, insanely complex but deeply rewarding survival style rts, use a tile set.
I Wanna Be The Guy, hilariously difficult side scrolling platform with surprisingly solid controls and gameplay if you can get used to/learn the troll deaths.
The old fallout games (1 & 2) are supposed to be good and should run on anything.
Starcraft I, Diablo II, Age of Empires II for some classics.
7 posts before someone suggests Morrowind? No wonder Garry wants to delete Facepunch. It's on GOG and Steam, not a big download I hope.
If you want something for free, try Daggerfall , it's a massive old RPG though its age means it's not for everyone.
As an aside, Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall and Hong Kong are MUCH better than the original game. You might still be able to find the free mod version of Dragonfall but the Director's Cut is well worth it the money.
On the more action side of things, Intrusion 2 is a fun Metal Slug-like 2d action game. It's available DRM free on the Humble Store.
first two Stronghold games, they run on almost any hardware you can feed
Abandonware is a great way to make an old PC useful, because while there is tons of shit there are some really great classic games out there for free download. Abandonia is just one such site. Many games will require DOSBox to run, but that's also free. The experience will often not be perfect, but that's the downside of emulating old-ass PCs to run games that were written before the word "gigabyte" was tossed around by normal people.
I don't have much in the way of specific recommendations because it's such a vast collection to choose from, but you can narrow down your searching to genre, release year range, and so on, to help narrow things down. The older the game/program, the more likely it is to run weirdly or be really obtuse and difficult to control (because a paper manual was included in the box and required reading).
The Bard's Tale trilogy is an old but legendary RPG series.
If emulators are your thing, you should be able to emulate most game systems up to and including the N64/PS1 (if you're careful with the settings, even an Intel Atom will do N64 emulation).
Otherwise try the classic Need For Speed games, Age of Empires, the first Half Life (and most goldsource games by extension including CS 1.6, TFC and the various Half Life expansions) and maybe the CnC games if that's your thing.
dragon's dogma
Heroes of Might and Magic 3
Grim Fandango, Psychonauts, King's Quest, Space Quest, Knights of the Old Republic I and II, Age of Empires, Might and Magic, fallout, fallout 2, dont starve, morrowind, half life 1 and its expansion, dark messiah of might and magic, arcanum, vampire the masquerade, puzzle agent
Vice City / San Andreas.
Original Half Life 2?
Master of Orion 2, Stronghold 1 and Crusader, Kohan Immortal Sovereigns, Caves of Qud, Brigand: Oaxaca, Deus Ex, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Tiberium Sun, Torchlight 1, Civilization 3, X-Com Ufo Defense, Xenonnauts, Dungeons of Dredmor, Swords of the Stars: The Pit, Din's Curse.
If you like classic role playing games, check out some of the classics like Fallout, Fallout 2, Baldurs Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights 2 and Planescape Torment.
Each of them has a lot of meat on them so you can spend weeks on a single game.
If you like 4x grand strategy games, Galactic Civilisations II is great. If you are interested in it I might have a spare key for it somewhere so let me know and I'll see if I can find it.
Unreal Tournament and Unreal Tournament 2004 for endless FPS fun. Also the original Half-Life + Blue Shift + Opposing Force, Age of Empires II, Age of Mythology, Rayman 2, Jazz JackRabbit, Worms World Party, Monkey Island 1-3 and Serious Sam The First and Second Encounter.
You probably can run emulators up to the N64/PSX era, you have a limitless amount of amazing retro games waiting for you.
If you like marble platformers, platinum quest is both good and free

Quake 2
Heavy gear 2
Hotline miami 1 & 2
Sid meier's alpha centauri
Dusk
Command & conquer: renegade
Doom 3 (not bfg edition, doesn't support old mods)
Syndicate (the one from 1995, not the new one)
Starwars Battlefront II (the old one from the early 2000's, not the new EA games ones)
Space Station 13
Teleglitch, Total Annihilation, Streets of Rogue, Strain Tactics, StarWars Republic Commando, Running With Rifles, Cortex Command, Postal 2, Notrium, Max Payne 1&2, Hostile Waters, Earth 2150, Darwinia, Crimsonland, Act of War
TES3: Morrowind, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, Shovel Knight, Theme Hospital, Jagged Alliance 2, Broken Sword 1-2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1-2
When I was younger and in similar situations, I played a shitton of Cortex Command and IVAN.
I have to thank you very much for your recommendations and suggestions I'm trying to see them all and I don't care if the game has old graphics or doesn't have any, as long as it's fun and tries to entertain me is enough. as also I'm going to take a look for several PS1/N64 games
I read about Space Station 13 the one who suggested it to me.but as I mentioned before, online games is almost impossible for me, by the shitty bad internet I'm horrible at multiplayer games
I have already played the old GTAs many times (GTA III, GTA VC, GTA SA more of 15 times) + mods and all Half Life series. L4D2 "almost" runs well on some maps, and when I'm on the L4D1 maps is much better is stable.
I never gave Morrowind a chance, I just played Oblivion that somehow runs decent except when there's grass and i try to find mods to disabled it but never worked to me. a friend recommended me STALKER series that can run decent on this pc and I've been watching some gameplays same with Terraria and Factorio winch looks really fun.
Thanks everyone

If you have an mmo itch check out Ragnarok Online either on Steam or find a private server with mid rates (vanilla or low rates makes learning the game fairly tedious). There's usually a decent amount of South American guilds on RO as well. Give the game a try; I still find the games' Guild vs. Guild vs. Guild event system to be a blast.
If you're into Roguelikes, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup is my favorite, and totally free.
Either available offline as a stand-alone executable, or playable online via this site. In the latter case, you'd need to make an account ofc.
