Nope.
Epic can keep them.
The good thing here is you don't have to even pirate them, they're free on Youtube already!
not interested in the games personally, nor being strong armed into using a platform backed by (IMO) untrustworthy actors. perhaps eventually things will get to the point where I am no longer even given the choice to play these games or not... dark times ahead for PC platform its balkanizing hardcore
That's it, I'm going to the bay to get those game, and they're not getting a single euro from me. You know, the ONE and only bay.
To be honest, this is pretty fucking scary if Epic can buy off store exclusivity rights for games that were Sony's main exclusives. And Sony is VERY protective of their exclusives. What's next, RDR2 on PC exclusively for Epic Store?
I guess the only way David Cage can exist is if he sells his ass for exclusivity of some sort.
Heavy Rain and Detroit rule, screw the haters. Also, y'all wanted competition to Steam but don't wanna pony up to the competition trying to compete. I'm not saying you have to but I think it's funny people are so mad.
Tell me the reasons that Epic is good competition and not anti-consumer, I'll wait
You're not going to succeed at this Epic.
Exclusivity is not competition.
Michael Bay?
David Cage is a deviant
3 epic exclusive headlines today one after another. Fuck right off you cunts.
Steam competition existed elsewhere before Epic decided to buy out indie titles and publishing companies. That, of course, is ignoring the recent debacle of Epic's shitty platform taking Steam's Friends list data without the permission of Valve or the end users, their EULA breaking basic rules of GDPR, and the very, very backward refund policy back in December. All of Epic's policy suddenly changed overnight after the journalist circles pointed out their heavily flawed system, how incredibly convenient.
The only reason I'm kinda pissed is that Epic doesn't support my currency which Steam had for a very long time. I'll buy from the Epic store when they add that. It's not about favoritism or that the competition is bad.
One good thing that will come out of this, imagine the interrogation scenes, except done in a similar style to this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTvqsXWTlVY
Very excited to replay these on PC, fuck me I'm drooling at the idea of experiencing those cinematic masterpieces at 60 frames per second. Yes, I'm totally serious right now. Not getting them on Epic though.

When they announced this, people in the crowd should have just kept shouting "SHAAUUUNNN!!!", "SHHHHHHHHAAUUUUN!!!"
They are objectively fucking terribly written games and the stories dont hold up under any measure of scrutiny.
Man Detroit would have been a perfect game if it was literally just Connor and Hank's dumb adventures. The entire bullshit rebel plotline is awful and Cara's is borderline offensive.
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean, you don't even have to imagine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGgb4OKHfbE Just an average day in the life of Willem Dafoe.
david cages best game is already on steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/312840/Fahrenheit_Indigo_Prophecy_Remastered/ you get every feature from david cage games in one big package casual racism exploited female character some sort of voodoo magic or something idk choices dont matter
Don't be surprised if Rockstar's games become exclusive to a new distribution platform, but I can't see it being Epic. The big AAA companies have seemingly begun mostly abandoning a distributor like Steam in favor of creating their own platform that they can sell, and host their own games on. This way, they get every cent of that, and they know people will buy it from them. EA did it a while ago, and Bethesda is seemingly poised to do the same with their future titles.

You know, people don't mind other stores like origin or the ubistore because they're publishers putting their games on the store. Same with console exclusives, they're typically an in-house dev like bungie/343 with Halo. These guys aren't competing, it's just their own stores to sell their own product. That's how that works. But then comes fucken Epic. They think competition is buying up every fucking title coming out that is NOT theirs. That's not competition. That's holding shit hostage.

It's pretty damn dirty, because normally a company has to convince the customer they want their product. Nobody wants Epic's product and they aren't able/willing to make it compelling, so they cut exclusivity deals with the people who own the product the customers actually want.
