Kellyanne Conway on Wednesday defended President Donald Trump’s attacks on her husband George Conway saying he’s “a counterpuncher” and asserting that the president is free to
respond when he’s accused of having a mental illness.
“He left it alone for months out of respect for me,” Conway, a senior Trump aide, told POLITICO in a brief telephone interview. “But you think he shouldn’t respond when somebody, a non-
medical professional accuses him of having a mental disorder? You think he should just take that sitting down?” “Don't play psychiatrist any more than George should be,” she added.
“You're not a psychiatrist and he's not, respectfully.”
Conway’s defense of her boss comes as Trump has spent the past two days ripping her husband on Twitter. While the president has generally restrained from attacking George
Conway, a longtime conservative lawyer who has repeatedly mocked Trump on Twitter, he broke from that habit on Monday after George Conway claimed he suffered from mental
illness.
“George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so
desperately wanted,” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning. “I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!”

This is the President of the United States of America.
The POTUS tweets things that would easily get him banned for flaming
This is just another Tuesday in the Trump presidency.
When your politics matter more then your relationship.

Euughh, everything is so him-centric in his goddamned worldview. Of course someone could only dislike Trump because Daddy Trump didn't give them a job. I guess this a reaction of someone who is used to being surrounded by nothing but fawning sycophants.
Gross
You're too old for him, Kellyanne. Give it up.
Party before country was dumb enough but party before family? Sheesh
"don't play psychiatrist"
Okay Kelly, you're actually right here. Let's sea what a psychiatrist actually thinks about the subject?

What a cuckold
For reference, this job was with the DoJ. Conway refused the job.
Trump later told George Conway that Conway was "lucky" not to work for a "weak" guy like Jeff Sessions and right to refuse the job. Trump, of course, only thinks of Sessions as weak because he recused himself from the Russia probe instead of throwing his own career into lava by protecting Trump and obstructing justice.
But now Trump hates Conway for talking mad shit about him so it's sad pathetic George begging for a job that Trump didn't think he was good enough for. Fuck the facts, baby's gotta justify a tantrum.
He's not only more self-centric than a supermassive black hole, this whole line about "I wouldn't give him the job" is a flat out lie intended to make him look like he's in control and not the pathetic incompetent manchild with a mental illness that he is.
Anytime Trump insults anyone over Twitter I hope they just tweet the diagnostic criteria for NPD at him. He'll either start blocking people he insults before they can reply, or he'll try and ban the DSM just so it can't be flashed in his face whenever he beaks off at someone more mentally competent than him.
Honestly, Trumpsters are pathetic in the ways they'll debase themselves for their emperor. Look at Ted Cruz, bending over for the guy who mocked his wife. These are the same people calling others betas. Projection as usual.
Wasn't it ruled that official accounts of heads of state couldn't block accounts? Because Trump would block people constantly?
They would let Trump take a dump in their mouth if it meant a liberal had to smell it.
I wouldn't put too much stock in a psychiatrist's diagnosis of a disease in a patient he's never personally seen.
There's actually a legal standard in the profession of psychiatry and psychology known as the "Goldwater Rule" and it stipulates that no licensed psychologist or psychiatrist is able to diagnose a patient they have not seen.
There's almost no psychiatrists who will cross this line, but the few who do can kiss a lot of their careers goodbye.
I was thinking to myself, I wonder which dick she's going to suck. That of her husband's or that of Trump's. Then I realized she loves being the center of attention and feeling like she has power and purpose. There's no fucking WAY she's going to do anything but defend Trump. Trump could call her a flakey bitch right to her face and she'll agree with him

Yes. US federal politicians, and probably state politicians, using accounts for political business (something Trump definitely is) cannot block people because blocking them violates the constitutional right of American citizens to peacefully address their politicians.
But considering Trump doesn't care about the law and Twitter refuses to apply the rules to heads of state because of the "public interest" of Trump's ToS-breaking attacks on people, good luck actually making Trump unblock people.
Incidentally, the Trump administration has lost in court dozens of times since inauguration -- almost every single time is because they refused to follow proper procedure and just ramshackled it through after Trump demanded it. The US government typically wins about 70% of cases challenged under procedural sufficiency rules; the Trump administration's win rate is 6%. The Trump admin would be much more fearsome and destructive if they were competent enough to do things properly.
