https://www.npr.org/2019/03/20/705162788/trump-backs-public-release-of-mueller-report Amid signs that special counsel Robert Mueller will soon complete his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, President Trump says that he looks forward to seeing the report and that it should be made public. Answering questions from reporters on the South Lawn of the White House prior to traveling to Ohio on Wednesday, Trump said of Mueller's report, "Let it come out. Let people see it — that's up to the attorney general." He added, "I want to see the report, and you know who will want to see it? The tens of millions of people that love the fact that we have the greatest economy that we have ever had."
No backsies!
He added, "I want to see the report, and you know who will want to see it? The tens of millions of people that love the fact that we have the greatest economy that we have ever had." what does this even mean? oh, and didn't several businesses get in big trouble when you buttfucked china imports? Why am I questioning this, its Trump.
Most transparent President, maybe ever!
There's gotta be a catch somewhere in here. Does it not implicate him but literally everyone around him?
I don't think there is, the only catch seems to be that "how can it implicate him if he's so confident in that he backs a public release?"
The catch is that he wants Fox News to read the report for him since he can't be pay attention long enough to read it.
I mean guys there is a possibility that there is no smoking gun with regards to Trump’s involvement with Russia, and that’s it. The report would have to be extremely damaging if he is to be impeached over it - the democrats don’t seem to want to pursue it. And the senate is still in Republican hands. There are other cases that could fell Trump, though, but at this point I’d put my money on Trump still being president until the next election. Hopefully not any longer than that, though.
I think a lot of people are misreading the situation here. Democrats have spent the last two years hyping up the Mueller report as a Hail Mary to sink Trump with charges of literal treason. That’s incredibly hard to prove, and if Trump is vindicated of the collusion charge (even though he’s committed other financial crimes) it will be a major political victory for him because it gives the “witch hunt” narrative legitimacy. He’s banking on the Democrats putting all their eggs in one basket and fucking it up.
Yeah it's not like there's extensive public knowledge of multiple core members of Trump's campaign team actively reaching out to numerous Russian contacts to coordinate efforts or anything Oh wait
In before Trump tries to take credit for a report that incriminates him.
"Let it come out. Let people see it — that's up to the attorney general." This right here. Trying to appear that he has nothing to hide in the report , but is banking on the attorney general blocking a public release.
It means that it'll have nothing that will lead to his impeachment. As I have been predicting for a while now.
Yeah, as disappointing as it may be, there's really not much to go on for proving Tinyhands is Russian compromised I mean, except for the.. I mean it's not like entire websites have been constructed around compiling connections or anything! It's not like there's more than maybe two or three people known to have been involved or anything like that! Just a short list of very minor things! There isn't even a reason to mention how out of date this list is!
This is called the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_herring fallacy
This is kind of concerning to me, it seems like it might follow on from a private conversation with the AG. It's an abrupt change in tone given how much he's been pissing himself on Twitter lately
The catch is he's a fucking liar and says things just because their popular. Then his base conveniently wipes their own fucking brains when he back peddles.
No, it's a thinly veiled order to the acting AG to block its release.
just like insanetaco implies, this is basically him bluffing into a shallow win-win: If it gets blocked, he can say "Aww shucks, I wanted it to come out too! to prove my innocence!" and the base will become suspicious of why it's being HIDDEN AWAY, but if it gets released, he can call that a public victory (in the short term), claiming he knew what was in it and that it was OK to bring it to light like he's innocent of it, thus clearly all the legal jargon in the documents is being spun bad by the fake newsand you shouldn't listen to anything they're saying about it, just let trump interpret it, maybe fox!
He knows he's untouchable so it doesn't even matter if the report becomes public or not.
This is only true because the GOP are so utterly corrupt that literally nothing will convince them to impeach one of their own. That doesn't even remotely imply that the report will reveal nothing of actual substance. We already know it has tons of substance just from what's been made public already.
Reminds me of how Trump said he could shoot someone during the election and not lose any votes
well yeah, he's been using this for years how is anyone falling for this though?
I've always held the the belief that there won't be a single smoking gun that ties Trump directly to giving an order or agreeing with Russia for help. But I certainly hope that the entire mountain of evidence leads to something that if the GOP tries to ignore it will be disastrous
Yes uh. Didn't Mueller say that the report would be disappointing? I honest to god can't see much of a tactical benefit to blocking the report if it implicates you. Sure, you could use this to maybe get the public on your side? Oh hoh I'm innocent and to prove it I'll let him release it or something? But if it's really damning as a lot of people here are hoping then you would want to block it to at the very least buy yourself a bit more time. Trumps a bit thick which may be an under-exaggeration, but I think even he would understand this.
Mueller hasn't said anything.
No he hasn't said that But please, just "fake news" this shit the way Trump would, meanwhile saying we're all wrong for seeing very obvious signs of collusion, corruption, and electoral fraud. You should never have changed your name from being Biohazard, it would make these disingenious shit posts look more obvious
...well that explains a lot.

he'll just make a new one.
