They're still doing a live interview thing https://www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive
Same devs as Blacklight Retribution, interesting. Thought it'd be done by the guys who made the recent Shadowrun games when they first teased it. Nonetheless pretty nice to see it actually being a Bloodlines sequel, hope it turns out well.
The lead writer and one of the voice actors (the one who sounds a little like Elias Toufexis) is working on this one too.
It's not Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines without Smilin' Jack. And it's not Smilin' Jack without John DiMaggio.

Pre-purchase Vampire or you can pre-order the unsanctioned edition and cosplay as jeanette or smiling jack
Man I'm excited, I hope they can match the mood and music of the original! I still listen to the soundtrack every once in awhile.
oh damn no epic logo
It's on the Epic game Store, Steam GOG and Paradox's Webstore
i'd love to see the 1st one remastered, i keep hearing all the jank which prevents me from buying it
I'm amused that they're going with the incredibly wordy title again
It's rough especially due to how buggy it is, but it's not so bad to get into even today. If you get in on Steam get the Unofficial Patch and install using the Basic version. The GOG version already has it installed by default. Then optionally get the Clan Quest Mod. It's definitely still worth a go despite its age.
I'm putting my expectations really low, the cleverly written dialogue trees and branching storylines set the mood for the first one which i've replayed countless times. The trailer is actually really nice in how it feels atmosphere wise, how everyone still looks like lowlife crooks in understated plain hoodies instead of doing some weird hyper stylized take on it which many newer games tend to do with sequels. Less is more, and the trailer seems to fit the universe so far. I love that one of the lead writers are back, but i honestly haven't played a game in years that delivered on some of the stellar dialogue trees as many of the older RPG titles have. You actually feel like people are trying to trick you in the first one, the subterfuge, intimidation, persuasion didn't always mean success in conversations. I really love the universe the first one built, and i hope they actually respect it.
Pros: Directly related to the first game Furry Flavored DLC Paradox has a history of long ass support Seattle Cons: Four of the writers at Hardsuit are ex-games journalists, so that should be fun and interesting, can't wait to take five pips in the Problematic perk Paradox likes stringing DLC along for a lot of their games that aren't Iron or Stellaris Toreador Elders, eew
What the fuck?? It only took them 15 years. Time to dust off the old VTMB1.
https://youtu.be/Y33hGaEgW7U Normally i wouldn't go near this kinda music with a ten feet pole, but goddamn they made it work so well with everything else. It just felt lived in.
I wonder if they're still using Source.
Got a link to the interviews now that they're over?
I AM DELIVERED AND SAVED

Honestly that fucks me over since I really like Angel, and everytime I open up the skill menu it makes me think of that song
lol cara ellison
I wonder if there's any chance we'll get more playable clans
I'm at least hoping for Malkavians and Nosferatu back, being able to play those two really help build the world by being so weird and different
I think we're pretty much guaranteed to have all the playable clans from the first game
Honestly I'd fucking shit myself if this was actually Source 2, but it doesn't look like it, looks like Cry Engine.
I am thoroughly excited.
I really hope its gonna be something similar to the first game. Great about it was the replay, like playing as Malkavian for 2nd playthrough and all that.
lol fuck u brian mitsoda is back this is going to be fucking amazing also im pretty sure that's VV's voice in the trailer
