• (SFM) Bonemerge Help

So I've been recently trying out source film maker for the first time and figured out how to add gmod models to sfm, adding cameras, and loading a map et cetera. The problem is the model i wanted to bonemerge with another model doesn't seem to fit right when i turned the zero slider over. it just either makes both models flyaway or distort within eachother. I tried adding both the root transform bone together but they as i stated, "flyaway or distort eachother". Is there a proper way to do fix this? i'm still a noob and i would like some help figuring out the bonemerging process.
