President Donald Trump said on Friday that he will nominate Stephen Moore, who has been critical of Federal Reserve policy and its current chairman, to one of two vacant seats on
the board."I will be nominating Mr. Moore for the Fed," Trump said. "He's going to be great."
Moore, 59, previously served as a Trump 2016 campaign adviser and is currently a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation. He also co-authored a 2018 book titled, "Trumponomics
Inside the America First Plan to Revive Our Economy."
As just one member on the Fed’s seven-member board of governors, Moore would have limited sway on his own. A more serious — and widely shared — concern among economic
experts is that Moore’s proximity to Trump’s inner circle could cause Wall Street to worry that White House pressure, rather than data, is driving the Fed’s actions.
Trump launched fresh criticism of Chairman Powell on Friday, saying GDP growth would have risen above 4 percent if the central bank hadn’t raised rates.
The man behind Trumponomics running the central bank of the United States.
he didn't apparently even consult with the man to see if he wanted the job, but the king hath spoken.

Uncontrolled growth isn't a good think you fucking moron.
His only experience with uncontrolled growth is when he witnesses urination, so it's not surprising he thinks it's a good thing at any level.
Remember that when Republicans talk about "draining the swamp," they don't consider corrupt and/or inefficient people running government deparments to be the "swamp," but the depatrments themselves. Their very existence is antithetical to the arch-libertarian fantasy of a national government reduced to only the department of defense. This is why they approve so strongly of Trump. They don't care who he nominates or how corrupt they are, as long as they make sure that the government stays out of the way of corporations and billionaires.
It's also know as cancer in people.
in economics it just seems to intensify the next recession. Reganomics almost caused a massive crash in '87 saved only by the depression era safeguards, the 2000's era neocon economics of endless stimulation caused the Great Recession, Trump's tax cuts have very likely pushed the obama era recovery past its peak
