Flight attendant told by employers flying to Mexico was safe, detained by ICE

This is absolutely fucked up.
She has to now be afraid of deportation to Peru, where she hasn't been since she was 3, because she was doing her job.

She raised concerns that she was not allowed to leave the country and her superiors assured her she was allowed to as part of her job. Got back, gets arrested by ICE still in her work uniform.

I work for this same airline and a lot of us are pretty upset that the company allowed this to happen. Not only could this whole thing have been prevented, but did because they staff crew tracking/scheduling with new people who have no fucking clue what they're doing all the time. And company apparently didn't even get involved until about a month into her detainment, which to me speaks volumes about our management and leadership.
