The GPIO on Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Zero W line up enticingly, and I'm morbidly curious. I can only imagine that mounting the Pi Zero atop a 3B+ like a HAT would not end well, but I just really want to know what would happen, and if it's harmless, I might try it myself. I am willing to bet it isn't though. If anybody knows the fatality rate/possible effects of such a horrendous act, please spare no gorey detail. I really, really, really want to know. It's like wondering what would really happen if you put a fork in a microwave, or sleep the night at a toy store. You won't do it, but you want to know what would happen. Please. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/377014/e06477f7-de72-47b1-b1e5-1ce5dcce9553/image.png
Never done that myself, if the pins match I don't think anything cool would happen. https://clusterhat.com/ I highly recommend this instead.
This looks way too cool not to try. Thanks for the info!
It won’t do anything exciting. The pins are all the same. You can communicate over SPI and i2c, communicate in the reconfigurable gpio and whatnot. The hat linked above is better.
