I have the model of a vehicle I'd like to replicate in GMod packed in a zip file. After unpacking, there's the model itself as an .obj file, a .mtl file and its textures in a series of png files.
What do I have to do now to have a simple model I can load up in E2 as a hologram? Doesn't need to have an accurate hitbox or anything as I need it as a holo only.
with e2, is it possible to load generic .obj models from a web upload like you apparently can with pac3
if you need regular old source specific .mdl files you're gonna have to learn all the specifics of compiling source engine models.
