Scott Walker has a career worthy of a biopic
The guy went from being in a pop group whose UK fan club was larger than that of the Beatles, to being trapped in a hellish contract that restricted his creativity and developing alcoholism, to finishing off the tail end of his career with some of the most visceral, uncomfortable and bleakly beautiful music I've ever heard - for a fun game go listen to a Walker Brother's record, then go and listen to Bisch Bosch straight after.
The guy is a testament to sticking to your creative ideals even in the face of the meat grinder that is the music industry.
And possibly my favourite thing about him is that both I and my now deceased grandmother loved him, but I think if I ever played her any of my favourite songs by him it would have probably been the thing that killed her haha
Jesus, this guy and Mark Hollis being dead is making this year a sad one in music
