https://www.bbc.com/news/business-47691478 Crew thought they were doing the right thing with the paperwork, genuinely could not believe it wasn't a joke if I was told "Welcome to Edinburgh" apon landing on my flight to Dussledorf.
Are we sure this is a mistake and not simply the natural reaction to realising you're going to be landing in Britain?
Not everything is Brexit
Yeah, I know. It's sometimes hard to avoid it being on my mind because the news is constantly inundating me with news on it. It obviously wasn't meant to be a serious comment, but apologies for derailing.
"Hey Tom have you landed yet? Dusseldorf branch meeting starts in an hour." "Yeah boss just landed" "Tom where the fuck are you?!" "Scotland."
The pilot then asked passengers to raise their hands if they wanted to go to Düsseldorf. Everyone raised their hands. Props to the flight crew for getting them to Dusseldorf anyway, without needing to disembark/ If it were America I'd expect them all to have to deal with the chaos of finding new flights.
