I mean I'm all for the report confirming the details of the things we already know -- but building a statue of Mueller specifically for this probe is a bit premature to say the least.
Not that the man doesn't deserve a statue; he's well deserving of a few and maybe a high-school or two. Seriously, look into his past if you don't believe me. He's the AG you'd expect to show up in a GI Joes Saturday Morning Cartoon episode about military law. He even has a cartoonishly-wide jawline.
People legit getting tattoos of Mueller and stuff was always cringe material
People actually did that? Holy shit how embarrassing.
Cultifying people in positions of power is a tale of folly as old as time.
We probably have a few of those geezers on this very forum.
If you're disappointed in Mueller you've fallen for the right propaganda and tricks.
They're specifically acting as if the report was released and nothing was found. So far, we've heard about it only from a trump puppet. Bot and idiots are making memes saying "report says NO COLLUSION! Report is empty!" and shit.
How can you be disappointed in Mueller if you haven't gotten a chance to see anything that he's said or found?
Sounds like you're just an idiot if you hype up a report for years and then immediately deflate and go "OH FUCK MUELLER BAD" before you've ever had a chance to read the fucking report
This is what happens when headlines are the sole things that shape your outlook on the world
What really disappoints me is that even places like CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, and The New York Times were going along with the new narrative that the President was somehow exonerated.
How can you be disappointed in Mueller with everything he's already done? Even if the report brings literally nothing new, the sheer amount of corrupt Trump aides he's already got shit on out in the public is beyond amazing.
Ironically, the writers of those headlines are terrible readers because Barr's summary specifically states
'the report does not exonerate the President'
its the ambiguity that they're running with, fox has been blaring for days now that trump did nothing wrong
But it's not ambiguous. He specifically says the report doesn't exonerate the President.
That means you can't say 'it exonerates the President'.
the ambiguity is that it doesn't say trump is guilty therefore he is innocent by zero sum logic
Funny enough on my campus the last several days every conservative club was out in full force with their little booths all holding "NO COLLUSION" signs and stuff like that.
the unredacted report isn't out yet, I don't see why we're suddenly making judgments on Mueller one way or another
Barr is a vile piece of human garbage. Look at his past, look at his recent comments in the last year and half about the investigation, and look at the fact that Trump wanted him where he is. Can't listen to a fucking word he says. And now he's sending it off to the White House for Trump's personal redactions before releasing it. So HMM
No need to get upset over Mueller
He couldn't be found guilty or innocent outside of a court of law. What Mueller is investigating is whether or not he felt the President committed a crime. Barr stated that Mueller declined to offer his legal opinion as to whether or not Trump committed a crime: he instead presented evidence that he felt 'might' be considered a crime and left whether or not the AG/Congress felt that the evidence amounted to a crime up to them.
It's not logic. It's just lying.
The Mueller report isn’t going to bring down Trump and people shouldn’t be getting their hopes up. It was a pipe dream from the start.
You may want to take a microfiber cloth to that crystal ball if you're going to prognosticate that 'this report won't bring down Trump'. You're going way beyond 'this report won't produce charges or impeachment against the President'. You're asserting it will have zero effect; that's a hell of a claim to make with nothing to back it up other than your own gusto.
The second Comey was gone is when control was lost over Trump's Russian involvement
I’ll do you one better, Dems won’t try to impeach either. Pelosi is against it and she’ll wrangle the House in line because it’s an unwinnable fight with a red senate. A failed impeachment is also something Trump can use as further vindication that will rile his base up into a firestorm.
Let me be perfectly clear, Trump will be indicted the day he leaves office for various crimes of corruption, money laundering, fraud etc. But he will not be removed from office until he is voted out or, god help us, makes it to 2024.
So in other words, this report will be part of the things that bring down Trump. Right. Glad you straightened that out.
He's riling them into a firestorm about the lack of an impeachment. Perhaps it's time for you to simply come to terms with the idea that 'doing nothing is just as harmful as doing something' here.
It’s not going to bring him down while he’s president. The microscope Trump has been under because of this investigation has revealed multiple financial crimes he’s committed decades prior to taking office. Also the hush money he paid Cohen was pretty clear fraud. The Trump/Russia treason charge won’t happen. Everything else comes after he’s out. Is that clear enough?
That depends on how it's handled in my opinion.
Does the public get to see evidence that the President did commit crimes by all but the most strict interpretation of the law?
Does Congress refuse to Impeach regardless of these crimes being brought to light?
Does the DoJ flatly refuse to indict the President, citing a policy that was crafted to literally save Nixon from imminent prosecution and is literally a policy that can be changed at a whim by the DoJ?
Does the President increase his calls for violence against his political opponents? Does he begin to attempt to literally shut down and censor the media?
Does the Senate refuse to hold a vote for impeachment because it 'doesn't agree the President has committed any crimes'?
Does Russia continue to become more bold in its attempts to capture its neighbors and does the US continue to pardon and forgive them?
Does the U.S. suffer an attack from Russia on our electrical power grids that Trump has sworn up and down Putin isn't responsible for or is engaging in?
The more of these questions are answered with 'yes' the more the nation will explode and the more the nation explodes the more likely it won't just bring the President down but could potentially collapse the whole of the government and even perhaps the Union.
Mueller has a very clear and respectable distance from the media that I really admire and understand as a sign that he doesn't want people doing shit like this
I always found rThe_Mueller pretty cringy. What started as a parody and ironic response to r)The_Donald, as with all things ironic, end up with people taking it seriously and drowning themselves in an echo chamber. People's expectations were overblown (including mine), but the fight isn't over until the full report comes out. I still think there's something plenty damning in it, especially with how much Turtle is protecting it, but I think it'll affect the people around him more than the head Cheeto himself.

Disappointed about fucking what? We don't know what he said.
