Thanks Sony, you broke the "Tits are life and ass is hometown" man.
why don't they just move to Switch? those games don't look very demanding.
Nobody know exactly why they still are trying to put Senran Kagura 7even on the PS4 as the main platform after they were affected by the censorship (Takaki mentioned some days ago that the game is being "reconsidered" because it can't be released on the actual form thanks to Sony), but the most probable answer is that the series has sell much better on Sony consoles and losing that demographic is simply not an option. The recent games on the Switch are spinoffs but maybe they were testing the waters of the viability of moving (That is a bit ironic because the saga started on the 3DS).
He's still going to work on Senran Kagura, just independently. It's not a big deal.

He's already got a new job at Cygames, and from the looks of it him leaving really was the byproduct of recent policies of restricted sexual depictions.
On the one hand I can understand sony not wanting to be the console famous for "The Titty Ninjas game" on the other hand I also admire the man who can set out to make a game about Titty Ninja's with this level of self confidence.
Cygames means skinnerbox mobile games so meh, but good luck nontheless
Maybe he could work on some console games since they started expanding to the console market
So basically from one titty game to the next?
They already did. They released Peach Ball on Switch recently.
Contractual obligations, from what I've been hearing. The Spinoff games are allowed on Switch, but anything mainline has to be developed for Playstation, apparently.
Sounds sorta like what happened with Resident Evil, where if I remember correctly, after the first game turned out to be a success, Sony made a deal with Capcom to have all later mainline numbered games release first on Playstation consoles. Spinoffs and ports (including any remasters) to other platforms were fine, but for the first release of a mainline numbered Resident Evil game, it had to be Playstation.
And then Resident Evil 4 happened.
