https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-47736303 Nicola Sturgeon is more interested in pushing for independence than she is in finding a solution to Brexit, the Scottish Conservatives have claimed.
Of course the tories are going to say it. Haud yir wheesht Mundell
There's a certain amount of truth to this but I still think the outrage is genuine. Sturgeon's primary motivator is pushing for independence, but the idea that Brexit doesn't bother her much is really silly.
Bear in mind Scotland had a supermajority vote to remain in the EU, so Sturgeon is going to be doing whatever she can to reflect that.
Yep, she's actually just doing what she should be doing, which is advocating for what the Scottish people clearly stated they want. Tories are daft bastards, if Sturgeon were interested in Scottish Independence over all else, she'd be pushing for Hard Brexit, because that's about the only way I can see an IndyRef2 happening and succeeding. If, as the SNP is pushing, we revoke Article 50, the will just won't be there and we'll end up with a close result like last time.
