Crazy how Sharia law still exists in this day and age, in any major capacity.
I saw that news on my Facebook's timeline and the comment section wew horrifying ... Sometimes I lose hope on humanity
It's crazy that it exists, it's even more insane the fact that it's being implemented into countries in this day and age instead of being eradicated as it should be.
It is of note that this country is a 5765 square kilometer absolute monarchy, not exactly like it was democratically voted to do this.
Conservatives and chaos does wonders to bring it back / reinforce it.

There is a disgusting amount of people who unironically support this type of bullshit. I saw a video on the worst 10 countries to be homosexual and nearly every single top comment was raving about how much they love these countries and wish they could brutually kill these people, but reply with a comment ever so slightly criticizes their god, they flip the fuck out all rabid and try to pull the victim card.
Why do we still have relations with nations that commit crimes against humanity
Welcome to the internet. Anonymity + people with bad morals/beliefs = a bunch of assholes spouting off in YouTube comments thinking they're right and REEEing whenever someone tells them they're being a dickhead.
Reform is easier through cultural exchange, and co-dependence promotes peace
Muslims, in my experience, repudiate any indication of Sharia Law being an issue by falsely claiming that it is a minor, insignificant part of Islam and that it has to do with tax laws. I'm not an Islamic scholar so I couldn't dispute the claim. Now, two things are either true: there are gay sex taxes or they were actually lying to me.
From what I've read Sharia law isn't really different from Jewish law. Meaning that both participants are supposed to agree to abide by it. So if one does not agree to do so, it's not supposed to apply to them. This is a very obvious case of the asshats in power forcing their own views on everyone else.
Everyone should be behind this, and behind boycotting every tourist hotspot in the middle east with shithole laws like these. Every now and then I see some instagram influencer who's all for girl power and feminism and rights, but then you see them on vacations in places where theres absolutely none of that, and that shit just pisses me the fuck off.
Overkill much, and terribly ineffective. The weapon is free, but you still end up losing valuable workforce. Plus, you can fuck over anyone you don't like by saying he fucked some dude, that's the trickiest part.
