I woke up at 1 am this morning with severe pain in my balls and side.
I've had this pain before but it happens very rarely but this time was the worst i've ever had it.
It persisted for 2 hours before calming down enough to let me fall asleep.
So my balls are tender to the touch so sitting down kind of hurts still to this point and i'm getting pain on my life side of my abdominal area.
I'm scared this might be testicular torsion but it might be a hernia.
Any ideas?

Don't be dumb, go to a doctor. Random people on a forum aren't going to help.
On a related note, it's probably cancer, you have 15 minutes to live.

in the event of torsion, it sometimes can spontaneously resolve via detorsion, if we assume that to be the case. but if it happens again you might not be so lucky so it's still worth having yourself examined for both conditions.

Had something very similar to this, turned out to be a kidney stone.
Still, go to a doctor.
I actually had testicular torsion, lol. It can sometimes go away on its own, but if it's bad, and you leave it too long, you'll lose one of your bollocks. I was lucky but you should definitely get it checked out next time rather than ignoring it.
