The CIA has also trained, with many more not yet declassified:
US Militia Movement: Funded "Patriot" groups in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Most of this funding was done through the John Birch Society via COINTELPRO.
Los Zetas Cartel: Actively financed paramilitary groups that were used by Mexico in the late 80's for dealing with the cocaine trade. Trained in the "School of the Americas" most of these groups ended up going rogue and becoming the founding fathers for one of the most deadly/dangerous cartels in Mexico with exception to maybe the Gulf Cartel.
Revolutionary Movement 13th November/Rebel Armed Forces of Guatemala: All founding members of this group were taught at the School of the Americas, and were actively involved in the formation of the FAR. They of course were involved in a four decade civil war, from which several mass graves are still being uncovered too this day!
Operation Gladio: Paramilitary "stay behind" forces in Europe that were used for what has been coined as the strategy of tension. If you need some level of understanding for how fucked up this was: Almost all fascist groups in Italy which were active in the Years of Lead, were directly financed and possibly even armed by the CIA and other intelligence agencies of NATO countries. One of the more notable "holy fuck" moments would be the Bologna Massacre. Oh it's also suspected that the CIA was involved with the green lighting of the Brabant Killings, but as you can imagine this has yet to be verified entirely.
Just about every dictator in Latin America was trained at the School of the Americas, and I cannot even begin to make note of how many stay behind networks, paramilitary groups, and otherwise have been directly trained or financed by CIA operatives. Seriously, we need to dismantle the CIA. The amount of shit they are allowed too get away with in other countries is beyond me.
