So not to long ago Rust recently expanded upon their glove selection and added Road sign Gloves, Burlap Gloves and including the military issued clothing the "Tactical Gloves". I was just bored and venting to my friends about what should be added to rust or what would be a nice feature. We started a conversation and branched upon Tactical Clothing. And then we all started to think if there was items such as Tactical Boots, Tactical Top/Sleeve, Tactical Bottom/Pants. These would would give a lot more cold protection and radiation so having the armor would not be annoying in snow or at night. These would make more sense to only spawn in military crates/elite crates/Chinook/airdrop. The appearance of the top and bottom would be most likely be a black. Later on during the release of these weapons you could add very basic camo or military colors to purchase off the market or collect just while playing. I think with all these military guns added its time to get a change of clothing.
meh, I feel like adding that much more content in terms of armor (which is already very saturated with content) wouldn't really do much. tactical gloves were cool because they helped lessen aim sway on snipers, but unless you can assign unique benefits like that to each individual piece of tactical gear, I feel like they would just be useless additions
@boku Cold and Radiation is a big deal for Full Geared Individuals, It currently gives you 18% Rad protection and no cold, Not enough to get into Dome even. If you we're to add clothing were you didn't die of cold or can't enter Dome or certain 20% areas because your wearing HQ armor. It is unique because it gives another thing to works toward and would probably benefit groups working at night or in snow areas and groups who like fights in monuments or just happen to roam in them a lot. It's something to work for which is why it's unique.
