https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-illinois-missing-child-idUSKCN1RG04G The kid went missing in Wisconsin, where his mother took him to a zoo and a water park, then they both went missing. The mother was then found in a hotel in Illinois, where she committed suicide, leaving only a note that the boy was with someone who loved him, and he would never be found.
what the fuck, is there more info about what happened?
Here's a couple more sources of info. https://apnews.com/0e7f2ddcae2143c6a18886d60b52e8fa https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/04/us/missing-teen-timmothy-pitzen-investigation/index.html The CNN article says he had been running for two hours.
Holy shit, I remember this back in the day and a couple of times it was brought. People who talked to the boy before police arrived said he was anxious and pleaded for help. "He walked up to my car and he went, 'Can you help me?' " a 911 caller told dispatchers, according to the affiliate. " 'I just want to get home. Please help me.' I asked him what's going on, and he tells me he's been kidnapped and he's been traded through all these people and he just wanted to go home." Is too early yet, but sounds like he was into a child explotation ring :C
It was a hoax apparently I wonder why someone would do that
Wow, holy shit. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/teen-kentucky-not-timmothy-pitzen-who-went-missing-age-6-n990961
attention
That's a good way to go to prison for a long time. All for 5 minutes of attention. Fuckin shithead.
Did they actually rule that it was a suicide or is the jury still out on the cause of the mother's death? Everything I've read on it says she killed herself, but man that sounds suspicious. It really sounds like someone killed her, framed it as a suicide and kidnapped the kid.
Yeah, I'm with this train of thought. Child rings have some of the nastiest people to walk this Earth, so no doubt they'd have the skills to do this.
