The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office says 37-year-old Casey Lewis bonded out of jail Thursday, only to be caught by deputies burglarizing several cars outside the jail. "Jail is bad, but for some it's better than home," SLCSO wrote in a Facebook post. "After being released, deputies in the parking lot of the jail observed Lewis pulling car door handles and learned he had just burglarized several cars right there at the jail." Lewis was booked inside the jail on burglary charges and then released a second time that day on bond.
Hey you got to do what you got to do
Seems odd, but i've heard of cases where people are unable to cope with living out in society and deliberately wish to be in jail because of the accommodations provided or for similar reasons. Maybe this is something like that?
He got released again on the same bond number
Speedrunner extraordinaire.
He was released on bond, he paid to get out.
He's probably a kleptomaniac
I bond burgled your sister.
Maybe? Its really weird too because he found a car with an unlocked door, opened it, sat inside for a few minutes, and left to keep searching before being caught He actually fuckin' found one and went 'nah, this ain't it' and looked for another one
