• QUEUED / Not Enough Rust Official Servers / Existing Servers Not Big Enough

All of the best servers have a massive queue. It would be nice if Facepunch could notice the specific type of servers where this is happening and create more new official servers like them or increase the player capacity of these existing servers, or both. There is something wrong when official servers almost always have a 100+ person queue waiting for them. I can't even buy VIP on an existing server I'm interested in because the VIP is also completely sold out. There is clearly demand for more servers and on top of that, more VIP slots on those new servers, so please consider opening additional new servers to meet the high demand from the players for more official servers. Let people play this awesome game instead of creating a situation where only the most dedicated can play, and only after waiting in line for hours. Please give us more official servers so everyone can play
You should direct complaints about Rustafied servers' VIP slot system to the Rustafied server admins. Also do you think servers might lag if you just increase the playercount to 700? You can't just set numbers as high as you want and expect everything to work perfectly.
They are considered official servers by Facepunch, which is why I'm posting here. I never said anything about 700 player-count. Please address the shortage of servers, it's clearly an ongoing issue. Thanks
They're community servers that've been considered reliable and stable enough to promote in the official list. Facepunch does not administrate them. Nobody on this forum can do anything about the VIP system they are using and you're yelling into the void if you continue arguing about it here. And I threw 700 out as an absurd number to draw attention to the fact that you can't just run servers into the ground by increasing the playercount. Server performance and responsiveness struggles the higher the playercount goes, and this applies to any game, really. In addition there are balance and size concerns, because overpopulating a map too small to handle it creates all sorts of new problems. You should consider playing on any one of the thousands of community-run servers in the community tab instead of demanding more official servers be set up. Or you can sit in queue. Up to you. P.S. I am not a Rust developer nor a Facepunch staff member.
