Facepunch as an option called "Seeking an Answer". Logic would dictate that that means I can mark a post in the thread as the answer. Either I am blind, stupid and incompetent or its simply not there.

You need to have toggled on "Seeking an Answer" first, in case that's not obvious. Then there should be an option, next to "Reply" I think?
