(CNN) United States Secret Service director Randolph "Tex" Alles is being removed from his position, multiple administration officials tell CNN. President Donald Trump instructed his
acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, to fire Alles. Alles remains in his position as of now but has been asked to leave.
The Secret Service director reports directly to the Secretary of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen, who resigned on Sunday amid growing pressure from the President. The director
oversees the Secret Service's work on both protection and investigations.
"There is a near-systematic purge happening at the nation's second-largest national security agency," this official says. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services director
Francis Cissna and Office of the General Counsel's John Mitnick are expected to be gone soon, and the White House is eyeing others to be removed.
The President in recent weeks empowered Stephen Miller to lead the administration's border policies "and he's executing his plan" with what amounts to a wholesale decapitation or
the Department of Homeland Security leadership, the official says.
Maybe this has something to do with the Chinese agent incident last week?
One could be forgiven for thinking Trump is purging the country's leadership to make it vulnerable to attack.
Seems Trump found his Goebbels in Miller, a man who basically is Goebbels
more like Miller and Bolton, as well as other radicals in the WH, are being given carte blanche to hijack federal agencies to carry out their ideological whims as the old leadership likely kept them in some form of check.
That wasn’t meant to be taken as a challenge you goddamn idiot!
This reminds me of this meme I made ages ago.

At this point, I feel like Trump has probably fired more of his staff than any other president in history. That's just a guess, but it certainly feels like it's probable.
Wait, I don't get it; were they dumb enough to just stick the USB drive into a random government computer? Because if they're shocked about as USB automatically transferring malicious software, I think that's been a thing forever.
They're more trying to get on record that Mara-largo is unsecurable and the administration has been lying about it.
Think of all the tax payer money that goes into Trump's pockets with all the visits he makes to Mara-lago. That huge entourage has to stay somewhere. And that doesn't count his golf clubs that he's been to more than Mara-lago. I wonder why he takes so many trips hmm?
He's laundering money into his pockets while driving his fat ass around golf courses, laughing his way to the bank as he defrauds the country of millions.
A columnist at the Washington Post pointed out that if Trump's administration was so hard up for a few tens of millions of dollars that they were ready to zero out the funding for the Special Olympics, they could've just not sent Trump to Mar-a-Lago five times, because his first five trips cost more than the entire annual budget allocation for the Special Olympics.
I thought you guys rejected kings but a neo-royalist cult's taken over one of your two national political parties, even if they don't realize they're neo-royalists just waiting for Trump to burn the Constituion and schedule the coronation. It'd be funny if it wasn't happening for real.
There's been a long storied history of Americans wanting a king because of nepotism and the inability to work with their fellow men.
That's basically rolled into the concentrating of power and wealth that's happened since the 70s where the rich have continually degraded the country to enrich themselves
