I don't see anything obvious that is wrong with your specs, performance wise. I don't know anything about possible incompatibilities though.
You could try monitoring your PC while logging in with the task manager or, possibly even better depending on which Windows version you are using, the resource monitor. If neither one CPU core nor your hard drive shows maximum activity the problem might not be too simple to find, but it's worth trying as a first step.
