I'm a bit bored of Secular Talk content these days because his responses to events are so predictable. He doesn't really add anything of value. I already assumed what his response would be to this and was once again not surprised.
I'm a lot further left than Obama but I think his criticisms of the progressive wing of the Democratic party have some merit.
I see now, Obama thinks the Democratic party was a mistake. What a hack!
So... you take issue with a man of facts and principles being consistent?
He's not there to entertain you, he's there to inform you.
Do we really need this pretense of facts when it's 2019 and we know that framing is what really matters? I can say "Huh, remember that time when a baby was being burned alive in that horrible house fire and Obama did nothing to save the baby?" and that would be a 100% factual statement.
I'm saying that he doesn't add anything of value in his commentary. I primarily remain subscribed so I can find out about stuff that's happened but I stop the video when he repeats what he has said 50 times before. I read the news plenty so I have no issue with being informed, but it's not informative to be told the same thing over and over again.
He's explained before that he reiterates the context under the assumption that he's not just talking to people who binge his material. When I first started watching him, I was INCREDIBLY appreciative of this as opposed to the shit they do on other shows where they sound like a condescending dick under the assumption that the viewer gets the joke.
At any rate, I can't think of anyone better than Kyle as far as reporting on politics. It's like the fucker has a crystal ball.
When it comes to pundits and opinion makers, the way they present information is more important than the factual content. Also sky is blue and any public figure who fancies himself factual is a bigot.
