Dumb man trying to act smart, holy fuck.
Kerry: Bachelor of arts degree. Massie: Is it a political science degree? Kerry: Yes, political science. Massie: So how do you get a bachelor of arts, in a science? Kerry: Well it’s a liberal arts education and degree. It’s a bachelor… Massie: OK. So it’s not really science. So I think it’s somewhat appropriate that someone with a pseudo-science degree is here pushing pseudo-science in front of our committee today. Bachelor's of Arts == Pseudo-science? What? Just when you think it can't get any dumber, it does.
Elected officials not understanding what a political science degree is It's already over
Good grief
Just another case of republicans pretending they care about science and engineering, nothing to see here.

God what a retard. "Well, the world was much different geologically back then." "did geology stop" "No, but -" "why are you avoiding my question" what do you bet this guy cheated his way through college, holy shit
Meritocracy is a fucking lie lmao This dumb fuck is a congressman and he can't wrap his head around simple fucking scientific concepts "did geology stop!???" holy shit how about "are you retarded?"
Oh so that's where scientists found the black hole.
The people laughing after he says "are you serious" is priceless.
The worst part is that the majority of Republicans I've talked to argue exactly the same way this one does and think they win arguments this way. So they'll watch this guy and think "wow he's so smart watch him own John Kerry"
"you just played the 1% card" and then he pauses like he gottem. Jesus christ what an idiot.
In my experience the engineers that still have the degree superiority complex after junior year don't make many friends. They end up becoming recluses that at best get locked away in national labs churning out research but can't speak to anyone of a different education than their own for the rest of time. You also don't realize how much work people put into a degree until you try doing stuff outside of your own major by yourself. I don't know how the hell this guy went from engineer to U.S. House Rep with an attitude like that.
Why is a politician complaining that a politician is talking about political matters?
Because their political opinions don't line up with their team's.
I got an argument with an engineering major that watt hours didn't mean watts per hour. They spent 3 hours trying to tell me that as long as the units involved both watts and hours, you can convert one to the other. In the end when I finally got through to them, they told me it was MY fault I didn't convince them faster because I "wasn't confident enough" Guess who I later found out was a Trump supporter
https://twitter.com/RedNationRising/status/1116030948452257792 Are these people retarded?
When people think "stupid" they usually think "low IQ, lacking skills that are stereotypically identified as intelligent" True stupidity is your tendency to believe things that are likely false for reasons other than evidence and logic. It's your ability to lie to yourself about why you believe something, ignore evidence to the contrary, and fall for logical fallacies because they reinforce beliefs that you aren't honest about why you believe them, either because they're part of your identity or for emotional reasons. By this metric, yes, these people are very, very stupid.
They subscribe to "don't show your weakness" to an n'th degree. To the point where they legitimately sound retarded or mentally insane.
like, we can laugh at him if we want, but him and people like him are an existential threat to humanity he might be a pathetic moron but he's a pathetic moron who's going to be responsible for the death and suffering of hundreds of millions of people, and we have no way to stop him. It's like laughing at a serial killer while he's in the process of setting orphanages on fire.
Money, power, a sure fire district that would elect a futon if nominated by their political party
Jesus christ did rolling stone really drop an unironic usage of "pwn" in a political news post
Until money can't buy safety this will keep happening. That moron needs to be shoved face first into the consequences of climate change and made to live in it for a year before he'll admit it's even real.
When you have a government member not knowing what a bachelor's degree is, its fair play.
the future is just SO fucking dire right now. Actually feel like I've somehow mentally detached from reality and I'm imagining this shit. Unbelievable.
"He has an engineering degree so we agree with him!" Yeah, well, Bill Nye also has an engineering degree and y'all don't give him the time of day on the issue you fucking shit-dribbling jizz-rags.
Sometimes it seems that to be delusional would be a mercy at this point.
Note that Democrats say that GOP congressman act completely different in off-camera hearings and some don't even show up.
"...but I don't think we should question your credentials today.." *Proceeds to question Kerry's credentials to an idiotic degree for the next 30 seconds* I-I'm sorry did I miss something here?
