Does anyone know where to submit a screen shot of someone hurling racial abuse? Seeing as Facepunch is a British company, based in the UK. It's obligated by law to act on such actions within it's game.

Racism is illegal in the UK, regardless of what platform it's funnelled through. They're required by law to provide an ability to report individuals who use the service of racial abuse. Just like its required by law to state a geographical address & contact form for a service which take's money to either buy the game, or in game sales. Which this game both does.
I'm not fully adverse on all UK law, but this has been made quite clear by the media in recent times. But that aside, I asked where do you report a player for racial abuse with SS as evidence.

You could just post the screenshots here in case staff sees it, but its very iffy evidence because it wasn't reported ingame, which is where you should report things

Its part of the Digital rights act. I can't find it off hand. But I am aware, just like facebook. Games where the servers are controlled by the game developers themselves, which this is on an official server. I am away if it was community or modded, there's little to stop it. If I find the exact part, I will fill you in. But I was just referencing from memory.
As for the in game reporting feature. I think that's just for cheating like you've said. But I will give it a ago anyways to see if I can get it to submit. I won't post ss on here. I know the forum admins love to ban people for doing so.

Rust gets pretty toxic. With my 4k hours I have heard everything imaginable and I simply laugh at it and move on. It is best not to get offended when using the internet, especially when on a game. If you are on a community server, a modded server or a rustafied one then contact the admin if you want to report said person

Is the server you were playing on based in the UK ? , Why didnt you complain to the Admin ? Is the server host based in the UK ? , are there any "witnesses to the occurance ? , Can you prove that the "screenshot" has not been edited and is original ?,
Even if all the answers are yes Facepunch is not responsible for the actions of other people using their facilities, If you were insulted and racily abused by a drunk in a restaurant restroom the restaurant is not liable or responsible for the actions of that patron,

First off you screen shoot or record the issue then you get an admin to ban them. If the admins do nothing then you can go to Steam.
Well they should implement tools like some the games I have played where any bad words result in a chat ban, the game is just too toxic and that would clean up some of the toxicity.
Also I think FacePunch should maybe eliminate in game voip, most of us use discord anyways. But I will admit for all the bad stuff I have heard I have heard some of the funniest shit ever at least the ability to mute a player

Ahh i see what the OP is going after . Canada, UK, and EU have much different laws than the US on such things. FP is under UK laws.

What you can do with this law is go after an individual if you are so upset about it. FP has 0 blame for it currently, unless you set the precedent making any online game responsible for anything people say in game, and only the individual can be tried. US law legit allows people to spout almost any hate, bar a few things.
So untill FP is openly condoning and supporting these things, you just need to go jerk off when people say racist shit.
