He criticized Omar again by saying she has been "very disrespectful" and that she has a "way about her that's very, very bad, I think, for our country." He also contended that she is "extremely unpatriotic" and "doesn't really understand, I think, life." Trump had previously renewed his attack on Omar following her report of death threats against her, tweeting on Monday that she is "out of control" and criticizing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for defending her.
