• Notre Dame Build in Rust

Built in Dec 2016 on Sydney1 (then) an official server. Facts, figures and planning material as well as other builds in the video. There was no upkeep, buildings could be big. Rip Notre Dame. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVLrBFzEzKs
It doesn't remotely look like Notre Dame. It looks more like the Twin Towers. Also Notre-Dame isn't dead.
When this video was made, Notre-Dame was still burning. Happy to hear of the intent to repair it. With the limited building materials available in Rust and stability limitations, it was never going to look like the original. The model built with twigs was used to experiment what was possible and to have a building that could be accessed in it's entirety Quite right on both remarks. Quite right on both remarks. if you are to host your own server you can turn stability off and then have a better go at it. Here's how to do those things: whilst admin do "server.stability false" and to host a server https://www.rustafied.com/how-to-host-your-own-rust-server/
Thanks for the tip Sosig. Upkeep will have to be switched off too. Also, there will be no players wishing to kill and rob you, taking the tension edge off. The server will then be no different to Fortify. The whole point was to build massive buildings on an official server while trying to survive through stealth and relationships. Unfortunately, upkeep has made this playing style obsolete.
