Large dinosaur skeletons are near impossible to find completely intact. I'm pretty sure most 'complete' skeletons are actually combinations of multiple creatures.
I hate jackass fossil collectors that think they own something just because they found it. The state should claim it for the good of the scientific community.
I think the guy who found it should get paid something for it. Maybe he's asking a bit much, idk anything about fossils, but I don't think the government should be able to swoop in and take it from him for science without compensating him in some way.
